Eddie Z here again.we have been coming here for some time now and the food and service is always good.our server (Lola) is outstanding and knows the menu inside and out. We started with the vegetable tempura that was great.Chicken terryaki and rice is always a winner as was the salad with ginger dressing.

Fantastic menu, food and PRICES! Our server 'Jes' is possibly the friendliest and nicest employee EVER. Will be going back partially because of JES. She patiently showed me the right way to hold chop sticks. Even circled back around to make sure I had it right! Also it's nice inside.

From the time you sat and got served your meal. The ambience is nice and welcoming. If you enjoy spice in your life, try the spicy edamame! You will have a hard time stopping! I went ahead and kept the spiciness going by ordering spicy Mongolian beef. It was tasty but not spicy enough, however the entree was good! The rolls were perfect! I will definitely recommend and be back! The location is literally off 77 and easy to get to. Service was excellent!

We tried Sabi for the first time this week, we got a to go order on Sunday evening. We had Tofu and Broccoli and Tofu Kung Pao. Both were good, everything was cooked nicely, and the order was ready right on time. They have a large menu, there are other items I would like to try. I will visit them again.

I needed to switch my Chinese food place. This is an actual restaurant (with takeout) so prices are going to be higher but so should quality. That's not always the case but usually. When picking up my food, I mentioned to the guy at the front that the takeout place down the street kept getting my order wrong and no longer answers the phone every time. Instead of bashing a competitor, he said, "Everyone is short-staffed so it's not easy." This was a big plus. It showed strong character. I want to give someone like that my business. But then... My $4-and-change Wonton Soup only had two wontons. This is a really bad deal in the Wonton Soup market. Especially for someone who only takes two sips of the broth. Even so, if we're talking about wonton value, it's the worst I have seen. The wontons were pretty good but I won't order them again if only two wontons. But then... I tried the Lo Mein. The box was half open at the top and wouldn't close back easily after I ate half the Lo Mein. I'm not an origami guy but we can look past that because the Lo Mein was pretty strong. But then... I realized they forgot the white rice for the Sesame Chicken and had to go back (not far). You shouldn't forget white rice. But then... I ate the Sesame Chicken with the white rice and let me tell you something ... It was a BANGER! It was so good that it overshadowed all the other small mistakes. And as crazy as it sounds, it made the Lo Mein taste even better. Because then I said to myself, "Wait a second! I'm eating really good high-quality Chinese Food!" And then... I opened the fortune cookie. I had zero expectations for what that fortune might say. I will not reveal what it said and it shall remain a mystery but the timing was kind of insane--and almost word for word. So, if you want high-quality Chinese food and your fortune told, go to Sabi.

[ A M B I A N C E ] The ambiance isn't anything spectacular. The vibe is giving old Applebee's "modernized" with a few retro light fixtures and bright green bucket seats. They offer seating outside, at the bar, sushi bar, or an oddly placed room in the back. [ F O O D ] SUSHI - I have to admit, I've got high standards for sushi - and Sabi did not disappoint on this front. I dined here about 4 times this past week and tried most of their Nigiri options and some california rolls and spicy tuna rolls (Not a fan of rolls in general so I didn't order much of those). All were good. The fish tasted fresh and the rice to fish ratio was on point. Their Unagi was one of my favorites I've had in a while. RAMEN - This was a weird one for me, I ordered the miso ramen with pork and it did not have any flavor at all. The broth was bland and had zero seasoning. I ended up asking for chili oil to get some flavor in there. NOODLES & CALAMARI - This could have been because this is a North Carolina asian restaurant, but there was ZERO flavor in anything I got. No salt, no heat, no acid, no fat. It was pretty disappointing. [ S E R V I C E ] The service is what saved this place from a 2 star rating. RENE was great! She is the type of server you want - Fast and Efficient. She had perfect timing when it came to checking up on me and she was quick, but still friendly and it didn't seemed rush. [ T H E V E R D I C T ] This place was great if you like traditional sushi and American sushi (rolls), but the rest of the menu was definitely lacking flavor and seasoning. If you want a place with a trendy vibe, this definitely wouldn't be it. If you favor service over trendy vibes this would hit the mark.
